Semoga Blatter Diberi Kesehatan & Umur Panjang

Cesar Azpilicueta and Juan Mata fire Chelsea to victory at Arsenal

Cesar Azpilicueta celebrates his first goal for Chelsea

The Gunners manager had never got the better of his Portuguese counterpart in eight previous meetings, and that figure became nine courtesy of goals either side of half-time from Cesar Azpilicueta and Juan Mata.

The result saw the home side fail to reach the quarter-finals of the competition for the first time since 2002, but they paid the price for failing to convert pressure, especially in the second half, into chances.

Wenger made eight changes to the side that started last Saturday's win over Crystal Palace, with the trio of Laurent Koscielny, Aaron Ramsey and Santi Cazorla keeping their places.
Chelsea extended Jose Mourinho's winning run over Arsene Wenger with a comfortable 2-0 victory to knock Arsenal out of the Capital One Cup.

Meanwhile, Mourinho's unhappiness at having to send a team out barely 48 hours after the last-gasp win over Manchester City was reflected in a team selection that featured just Gary Cahill from the 11 that walked out at Stamford Bridge over a day after Arsenal had left the Selhurst Park pitch.

The host of changes by both managers meant two of the country's top sides using many players with little game-time under their belts as October edged towards November, but it was Chelsea who looked the far more comfortable as the game unfolded.

The west London outfit won a string of early corners as they enjoyed the best of the possession without troubling Lukasz Fabianski in the home goal. At the other end, the hosts failed to test Chelsea's oldest-ever player, 41-year-old Mark Schwarzer making a rare appearance as Petr Cech was rested.

But Chelsea took the lead on 25 minutes through an unlikely source as yet again a defence facing the Blues conspired to present them with a gilt-edged chance to score.

Juan Mata says Chelsea are ready to fight for the Premier League title.

The confusion as Carl Jenkinson failed to decisively deal with a ball dropping on the edge of his box had shades of the Joe Hart-Matija Nastasic incident two days earlier, but this time it was Azpilicueta, racing upfield from defence following a corner, who was on hand to touch the ball in off the post for his first Chelsea goal since his move from Marseille in August 2012.

The goalscorer soon allowed fellow Spaniard Nacho Monreal a shooting chance, but his raking effort following a mistake from the Chelsea defender flew across Schwarzer's goal and just wide after a slight touch off Gary Cahill.

But the goal failed to spur Arsenal on into a concerted response, with Nicklas Bendtner cutting an isolated figure up front, while Chelsea were quick to snuff out any home attacks. In fact Mata, required to put in a shift when his side are without the ball by his manager, personified Chelsea's committed approach.

A deflected shot from Ramsey that bobbled wide early in the second half lifted the home fans and led to their side's best spell so far. But failure to pressurize Schwarzer, particularly by Bendtner, led to more frustration and continually let Mourinho's men off the hook.

Ramsey pulled a shot wide seconds before Mesut Ozil replaced the anonymous Ryo Miyaichi on the hour as Wenger looked for his side to properly assert themselves. However Mata's brilliant strike shredded the script marked "comeback", the Spain international taking one touch to control the ball after it skimmed off Willian's head before rifling an unstoppable drive past Fabianski from the edge of Arsenal's area.

Olivier Giroud drove a shot at Schwarzer, but another substitute in Ramires came close to extending Chelsea's lead within seconds, his fine dribble only thwarted when Koscielny luckily squeezed the ball to safety after treading on it.

The away side held their hosts at arm's length for the rest of the match, and ended the evening as comfortable winners to the delight of the 9,000 fans that had made the short journey across the capital.

Former Manchester United star likens Adnan Januzaj to Cristiano Ronaldo

Januzaj scored twice on his full Premier League debut against Sunderland and has featured on eight occasions in total for United this season.

The 18-year-old has made a positive impression on the former South African international who has witnessed the starlet's development first-hand after his spell with United's reserves while completing his coaching badges.

"Everyone around the club knew that he was special," Fortune said. "The self-belief and confidence set him apart from the other young players I saw at United a couple of years ago and even though he is playing at a higher level now, he has the same mentality.

"He has so much belief and confidence in his own ability and that's hard to see in young players these days. He reminds me of Ronaldo when he arrived.

"He was making so much progress and when he went to train with the first team, some of those lads were talking about him.

"He believes in himself and that takes you far in this game. He has great talent and he is a level-headed guy.
"He has so much belief and confidence in his own ability and that's hard to see in young players these days. He reminds me of Ronaldo when he arrived."
Quinton Fortune on Adnan Januzaj
"He is doing incredibly well, he is already one of the key players in the team and hopefully that will continue."

United tied Januzaj down to a five-year contract earlier this month and Fortune is optimistic the teenager can follow in the footsteps of former Old Trafford hero Ronaldo.

"If Adnan can follow what Ronaldo did it would be unbelievable for himself and the club," he said.
"Adnan has exactly the same mentality. I don't think Ronaldo lacks confidence, and that is why he is one of the best players in the world. Adnan still has a long way to go, he has had a fantastic start though and I wish him the best.

"He is a fantastic player and there is more to come from him.
"Once he gets a few more games under his belt you will see an even better performance from him."

Man City tipped for Capital One Cup win over Newcastle

Jose Mourinho may have been complaining about Chelsea's fixtures but Manchester City complete a tough, three away games on the spin with a trip to Newcastle on Wednesday.

Add caption
After winning at CSKA Moscow and then throwing away a point against Chelsea in the dying moments on Sunday, they continue their Capital One Cup campaign with a visit to St James' Park.
There's no question this tournament is of less value to Manuel Pellegrini and his team than the Champions League - which seems to be his main priority - the Premier League and the FA Cup. But trophies aren't easy to come by and they shouldn't allow this opportunity to pass by easily.
They'll certainly come up against a fired-up Newcastle side, who will be hoping to respond to a disappointing defeat to Sunderland on Sunday.

The best way of getting over a derby defeat is to win your next game. I remember Newcastle beating us 5-1 when I was at Sunderland. We went on a run after that game and, while it didn't eradicate the memory of that defeat, it certainly helped - and Newcastle have an opportunity to do that against a top team who are a little shaken after scraping through a Champions League game and then surrendering a draw at Chelsea.

Joe Hart has come in for criticism for his error against Chelsea and there's speculation, as there was a couple of weeks ago, that Costel Pantilimon will come in for him.

But I was in Moscow and saw the City players all run over to Hart at the full-time whistle because he'd won them the match with his breathtaking save from Keisuke Honda in injury time.
A silly decision had enormous consequences on Sunday but is it enough to see him dropped? I don't think so. I personally wouldn't drop him but it will be interesting to see what Pellegrini does and if Pantilimon gets his chance.

For the sake of his confidence, I'd stick with Hart. After a couple of clean sheets, this could all be forgotten. Pellegrini will have to get his team selection right, though, because Newcastle will put out a strong side and the Magpies are a far better team at home.

I think Newcastle will make it a nervous night for a shell-shocked City camp but there are a lot of players itching to get into that City first XI - players of real quality - and I think the likes of James Milner, who will be coming in, will see City through this tight one.

Capital One Cup win shows Chelsea squad superior to Arsenal

Both sides rang the changes for Tuesday night's game at the Emirates Stadium, with Arsene Wenger making eight changes to the team that won at Crystal Palace on Saturday.

However, they were comfortably beaten by a Chelsea side that featured 10 changes - Gary Cahill was the only survivor from Sunday's win over Manchester City - and yet still featured international stars such as Juan Mata, Samuel Eto'o and Michael Essien.

Wenger – Chelsea not worthy winners

Sky Sports expert Wilkins says the 2-0 scoreline demonstrated the difference in squad depth between the two clubs and feels that could be of concern to Wenger.

"We've basically seen a Chelsea reserve team come out tonight and wipe the floor with Arsenal," he said.

"Arsenal haven't shown anything whatsoever against this Chelsea team. Chelsea have been so superior to Arsenal tonight that it's almost been slightly embarrassing in the way Chelsea have won this evening.

"Jose hasn't learned too much. He knows he has a fantastic squad of players and that was pretty evident tonight when you see that Chelsea can put this team out and yet there will probably be eight changes at the weekend.

"This is a squad of fantastic footballers like Michael Essien who hadn't taken part this year and all of a sudden he comes in at the Emirates and he's outstanding.

"They have a wonderful squad of players and whichever team they pick, they win."

Genius

Cesar Azpilicueta opened the scoring in the first half and Spain midfielder Mata, who was given the Man of the Match award by the Sky Sports pundits, scored a fine second for Chelsea.

Chelsea – Ready for the title

The club's Player of the Year has struggled to hold down a first-team place following the return of Jose Mourinho with the Chelsea boss apparently preferring the work-rate of the Oscar and Ramires.
But Wilkins cannot understand why Mata doesn't start more often and says questions should not be asked of his attitude.

"He's a fantastic footballer, I've got to say," he added.
"Jose has a massive problem in who he selects, but this guy is a genius of a footballer. He's a wonderfully gifted young man.

"I haven't [seen any change this season]. I've always thought the guy was a different class.

"I think he's giving more of that this year and I really think he's always worked extremely hard. I don't honestly understand what Jose was trying to get more out of him.

"I think this young man is something very special. When you hear him speak he speaks with a lot of humility and he's very humble in the way he speaks.

"He's a proper bloke, but he's a wonderfully gifted player and I don't know what more Jose was trying to get out of him."

Zlatan Ibrahimovic inspires PSG to a 5-0 thrashing of Anderlecht

Zlatan Ibrahimovic continued his extraordinary goalscoring run with four goals as Paris St Germain thumped Anderlecht 5-0 in Brussels.

Ibrahimovic completed his first Champions League hat-trick in a devastating 18-minute spell before half-time to ensure the French champions easily maintained their perfect record in Group C.

Edinson Cavani got in on the act after half-time, thanks to a defensive blunder, before Ibrahimovic became just the fourth player to score four times in a Champions League match.

The Sweden striker has now scored 10 goals in his past five games for club and country.
The goal that completed his hat-trick was the pick of the bunch, and loomed as an early contender for goal of the season.

After Gregory van der Wiel had set-up his opening two goals, Ibrahimovic took it upon himself to claim his third as he smashed an unstoppable 30-yard volley into the top corner.

Anderlecht, who remain without a point, had forced PSG goalkeeper Salvatore Sirigu into some early action when Aleksandar Mitrovic and Matias Suarez got early sights on goal.
But from there Ibrahimovic took over.

The 32-year-old should have had his first on 12 minutes when he ran onto Marco Verratti's pass and, after rounding goalkeeper Thomas Kaminski, could only find the side netting.

It mattered little as the opener came five minutes later when Van der Wiel found space down the right and delivered a low cross that Ibrahimovic turned in after breaking off his marker to the back post.
The same pairing then combined for PSG's second, although this time Ibrahimovic added his usual flamboyance.

Van der Wiel was again given too much room and while Ibrahimovic was this time tightly marked he cushioned a back-heel past the goalkeeper with the aid of a slight deflection.

There was no subtly about Ibrahimovic's third on 36 minutes, however, as home goalkeeper Thomas Kaminski - on his 21st birthday - was left flapping at air.

A weak defensive clearance fell only into the danger area where the lurking Ibrahimovic suddenly sprang to life to smash his thunderbolt drive past Kaminski.

Anderlecht's pain was not complete though and it was their own fault that a fourth was gifted to PSG.
Chancel Mbemba slipped over with no apparent danger around him just outside the area, and after failing to recover, Blaise Matuidi nicked in and slid the ball for Cavani to score past an exposed Kaminski.

Ibrahimovic's fourth then arrived on 62 minutes as he raced onto the ball in the area and finished into the far corner.

He had a chance to join Lionel Messi as the only player to score five times in a Champions League game moments from the end, but was denied by a stunning Kaminski double save.

It was about the only record to elude the PSG skipper on the night, with his side also able to celebrate their biggest ever away win in Europe.

Cristiano Ronaldo double sees Real Madrid beat Juventus 2-1

Two goals from Cristiano Ronaldo saw Real Madrid all but book their place in the last 16 of the Champions League after beating 10-man Juventus 2-1 at the Bernabeu. Los Blancos produced a far from convincing performance even after Giorgio Chiellini was given a straight red card on 48 minutes for an elbow on Ronaldo. The Portuguese forward gave Madrid the lead four minutes into the game but Spanish striker Fernando Llorente equalised after 23 minutes before Ronaldo restored the hosts' lead five minutes later from the penalty spot.

Iker Casillas was called into action barely a minute after kick-off, tipping a long-range shot from Claudio Marchisio over the bar. But it was Madrid who took the lead as Ronaldo beat the offside trap to get onto the end of a throughball from Angel Di Maria and calmly rounded Gianluigi Buffon to slot into an empty net. Juventus did not drop off after the goal and Carlos Tevez had two shots off target, with Martin Caceres also volleying over before Llorente levelled after 23 minutes.

The play originated with a quick ball from Andrea Pirlo out to Caceres on the right. His deep cross looked to be going out but Paul Pogba managed to head it towards goal and, although Casillas was able to keep it out, he could only clear the ball out to Llorente, who poked into the bottom corner.
Pogba came close to putting Juve ahead a few moments after the equaliser but shot just wide of the left hand post.

Madrid struggled to impose their authority on the game but were back in front soon enough when Chiellini brought Sergio Ramos down as Juve defended a free-kick and, after a moment's hesitation, referee Manuel Grafe pointed to the spot.

Buffon dived the right way but Ronaldo's penalty was too powerful for him to keep out.
Pirlo then shot over the bar from close range, albeit from a tough angle, and at the other end Ronaldo fired several feet wide of the right hand post. Although Juve went into the break a goal behind, their performance would have given them belief they could of turn things round.

But their hopes were dashed barely five minutes into the second half when Chiellini was sent off for an elbow on Ronaldo as the Portuguese attacked down the right hand side. Karim Benzema should have put the game to bed after receiving a low pass from Alvaro Arbeloa three yards in front of the near post but somehow missed the target, provoking a chorus of boos from the Bernabeu faithful. The Frenchman's low level of confidence became more apparent a few minutes later when he failed to control a simple ball from Luka Modric which would have put him through one-on-one with Buffon.

Barely a minute later, he was replaced by Gareth Bale, who was unable to have a great impact on the game. Despite their man advantage, Madrid did not look in control and Juventus substitute Sebastian Giovinco forced Casillas into a save with a shot from the edge of the area. Giovinco could have made Madrid pay late on as he surged into the box but was too indecisive and failed to get a shot away with Pepe eventually clearing the danger. Madrid now lead Group B with nine points and require just a point in the return fixture in Turin in two weeks' time to guarantee their place in the last 16.

Prediksi Arsenal vs Dortmund
